Scenic View speaks for itself! While there are wonderful sights in Southern Indiana, the vista overlooking the Monroe Lake basin and its range of hills is reminiscent of the breath-taking sights in Gatlinburg, Tennessee but without the drive.

Scenic View Lodge is only minutes away from Bloomington and the Indiana University campus. Sitting atop the ridge on State Road 446, above Indiana’s largest lake, The Lodge faces the eastern shore and hillside so that sunrises, coming over the hills and shining on the lake, bring a magical awakening, like the picture above. In the fall the hillsides reveal one of southern Indiana's remarkable seasonal views of vibrant Fall colors.

Scenic View Lodge is surrounded by the Hoosier National Forest that fronts to the Lake. The place and scenery are not just majestic, but stir the "mystical within". Come, Look-out, soak in awesome-ness of your private view, and let the body and soul rest and restore. Take a trek in the forest, soak in the spa, and then repose in self-contemplation, read a good book or share with friends or family.
